During the second week of April we approach Ryan Hill for an advert for the month of April 2013 up to 1 May 2013, on a Television. The ad read: 42" Cinema 3D Full HD LED TV - R4999-00, according to him they do not have any stock, but will receive stock during the next week. Today 23/04 /2013 we went to Tafelberg Furnishers to purchase the specific Television. When we arrived we were told by Ryan Hill and Peter Steinman the MANAGER that their will be stock next week. We asked Ryan that we would like to proceed with the purchase of the television, who in return said that he need to speak to someone else first. We were approached by Leon Kellert who is apparently the buyer. He said we cannot purchase the television at the advertised price but can have one next week at R5499-00. I feel that Tafelberg are misleading customers and although they have stock refused to sell at the advertised price. Tafelberg cannot sell any stock under the Consumer Act as while stocks last. I phoned LG the supplier who confirmed that stock of the specific model are available to their suppliers. Tafelberg cannot inflate prices as they wish.
