Yesterday I was at the Greenacres branch in Port Elizabeth wanting to purchase a SONY RDH-GTK11iP iPOD Docking station. I had with me a quotation from [URL Removed] for the same item, House & Home price was R1999 and Takealot's price was R1699 delivered. I inquired with the salesperson (Chaylen) if House & Home would match the quote as per their policy on bettering any price. After 40 minutes of consulting with his superiors, he informed me that House & Home were not going to adhere to their policies which are constantly advertised throughout the store on Television screens. I believe this to be false advertising and am very dissapointed that this type of behaviour is tolerated.
