Ad attitude and damage goods

On Thurday 12 December my mother bought a samsung galaxy star at the Ackermans Eersteriver Cape Town. When we wanted to download theapplications that it said the phone can download it didn't want to. We thought it was an airtime problem. We took the phone to two technical centres (vodacom and cell c) and both advised us that the phone can go on the internet but can't download anything and that we should go back and get another phone. We went back today (17 Dec 2013) to the ackermans store and the very unfriendly manager named Jon (after we had to wait for him) told us that he needs to check the settings after we already told him we went to two service providers. If he was a cellphone tech we coul understand. He then told us that he have tocall his one department because they don't take cellphones back because they can't sell it again. So they would rather have their customers have phones that doesn't work. And we didn't want our many back we wan to buy a blackberry which we have to pay in. He also didn't want that (a sale). The staff didn't even know the customer service no when I asked for it. My mother must go back tomorrow morning at 10. We are not going to take the phone back.
