I purchased a Leap Pad 2 from their online store while they were running their "Monday Specials". What they don't tell you and what I've read from other comments here is that those may be used or damaged items.
When i received the parcel and started opening it, I noticed that the packaging was damaged. Decided to write that off as damage during shipping because my little one was there with me and excited for her present. As I proceeded further i noticed that the box wasn't only damaged but the seal was broken. Inside there was space in the molding for an attachment of some sort, which was missing. When i turned it on I realised why everything seemed out of place - there was already another childs profile on the device. It was used! Is this what DION means when they have specials, because there seems to be quite a few other similar cases on this site when it comes to DION
They have dispatched a courier to collect the item again, but wont replace it because there is no more stock - even though the leap frog section at their stores are filled. My daughter now asks me where her special present went that we unwrapped and I have 2 disappoint the child because DION likes to take chances
