Disappointed and irate

Good day,

On the 04 October 2013, I went window shopping to a Sunglasses Hut in canal walk. A polite lady by the name Patience noticed a pair of shades on my head and offered to clean them. Naturally, I obliged. She then proceeded to tighten the arms. Great! Then she decided to adjust the curved part of arm that goes over ear, and SNAP, breaks it!!

I fully understand that this was not intentional and accept that mistakes happen and easily forgave her for this. We then discussed procedure going forward on the repair or replacement process.

She promised me that she would have them repaired and be in contact with me.

2months later, after numerous attempts to follow up on this, I have always hit a dead end. I have spoken to Patience (on tge odd occasion I managed to get a hold of her), promises are never delivered. I have called the store and left several messages asking to be contacted by the Manager (who's name I believe is Farouk). Not once has anyone called me! Not to apologise for this inconvenience, nor to update me!

I spent in the region of R2500 on this pair of Gucci sunglasses. I feel very disappointed and disrespected by the turn of events following this mishap.
