Defect or Bogus Ray Bans - we're being robed

I BOUGHT A PAIR OF RAY BAN SUNGLASSES FOR R2700 AT SUNGLASS HUT AT DURBAN AIRPORT IN THE EVENING PRIOR TO MY FLIGHT BACK TO JHB. I REALISED THE FOLLOWING DAY (SUNDAY) THE THE LENSES WERE PORALISED. I WASNT TOLD THIS AND THEREFORE I WENT TO MELROSE BRANCH TO FIND OUT IF I COULD CHANGE THE LENSES, WHICH BY THE WAY I DIDN'T MIND PAYING FOR.
HOWEVER, I WAS MADE AN OFFER OR TOLD THAT I CAN EXCHANGE THEM FOR A UN POLARISED PAIR. THE STORE ATTENDANT PROCEEDED TO CLEAN THE LENSES AND THEN BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION THAT BOTH THE LENSES HAD SCRATCHES. THESE WERE SCRATCHES THAT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN VISIBLE TO THE NAKED EYE WITHOUT HAVING TO CAREFULLY INSPECT THE LENSES IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT. BEAR IN MIND THAT I HAD THE SUNGLASSES FOR LESS THAN 48 HOURS.

THEY REFUSED TO ACCEPT LIABILITY OR TO EXCHANGE AND OR RETURN THE PAIR BACK TO RAY BAN FOR AN ASSESSMENT LIKE ANY OTHER RETAILER WOULD. THIS THEN LEADS ME TO BELIEVE THAT SUNGLASS HUT IS EITHER SELLING BOGUS OR REJECT SUNGLASSES WHICH OBVIOUSLY THERE WOULD BE NO RETURN POLICY TO THEIR SUPPLIER (RAY BAN.

THEY STILL HAD THE ORDESITY TO TELL ME THAT I CAN RETURN THE PAIR AS DAMAGED AND THEN THEY WOULD ONLY CHANGE ME 50% ON A REPLACEMENT PAIR_WTF!!
