I've purchased a pair of Oakley Scalpel sunglasses in May 2012. The clerk gave me the display pair (me not knowing this) I had to return these as the frame was broken under the rubber on the 'earpiece'. I had no problem with this as mistakes do happen. It is now 8 Months later and the lenses are bubbling and pealing. Two months ago (bear in mind the shades are now 6 months old) I went to the store that I've purchased it from and they told me to that it would be straight swop for another pair. As I browsed in another Sunglass Hut in same mall that clerk told me I must take it head office as doing it through a store would take extremely long. head office told me Monday 04/02/13 they cant get stock of my lenses but would have different lenses available if I pay the service charge (for manufacturing defects?? REALLY??) Wednesday 06/02/13 they will have lenses for me... guess what... they didn't. BEST THEY CAN DO FOR ME, I have to wait until they have stock. The shades arn't discontinued so I cant get another pair. I spent A LOT of money on this shades, and if my money is good, why cant the service be as well?? Looking forward to your speedy reply.
