My 12 year daughter was shopping in the White River Shoprite store when she was traumatically robbed of her phone, her Blackberry Phone that she had just received, was taken from her inside the store by 's or supporting staff, this has not yet been determined, but the incident happened in-store. We reported the matter to Shoprite management on the 2nd October, after many calls to Erica (Employee at Head Office) and nearly 2 months later after another call, I eventually received an email "Not a call" an email, explaining that Shoprite are not taking responsibility for any in-store abuse of their unsuspecting customers. Their attitude is disgusting to say the least, customers getting robbed whilst they are shopping at a shoprite, if this is the expectation you have before you walk through their doors I would never have let my daughter enter the store in the first place. In-fact I will never nor will my friends and colleges support Shoprite in the future, and I will continue to alert unsuspecting shoppers to their in-stores abuse.
I am totally shocked and disgraced with their attitude towards people who they encourage to support their stores..
