I hold an account with Edgars and attempted to make a purchase. I was then informed that the account was blocked because of some internal policy relating to a secondary card holder. I attended to a store in Northgate where they telephoned the necessary call centre. I was kept on hold for more than 30 minutes without any success. I was eventually advised that they cannot assist and that I should return on another day. I received no prior notice of the blocking of my account and was also never requested to submit any documentation. I advised Edgars that I will not pay my account any further until such time as they are able to sort out the account on their side!
