I am a very disappointed and disgruntled customer! I have been a customer at Edgars for more than 10 years now. I had to FICA my account twice in the past. The last time was in November 2012. Since February 2013, my account has been blocked at every attempt to make a purchase at Edgars or Jet stores. Being embarrassed at the till at each occasion. My wife (who has a dual card) and myself were promised on 5 occasions that the account would be permanently unblocked... we are still waiting! Today my wife attempted to purchase at Jet store in Canal Walk, but the account was blocked again. She did managed to purchase the items, after Edgars CW store contacted head office for temporary unblocking of the account. Angel at Edgars head office said that there is a technical error on the system in Jo'burg, but could not give a time frame for it to be resolved. I am appalled at the way that I am being treated. I am strongly considering closing my account and doing all my business with Woolworths! The staff of CW Edgars who we have dealt with are: Chris van Wyk, Anthea, Lindy, Yumna. The ones at Head Office are Cleo and Angel. Please Edgars get your act together.
