DEnied credit limit because of a failed project!!!

I've had an Edgars account eversince I was a university student in 2008 and initially the account was a first card account operating on a 50/50 basis. It's been 3 years now, I am permanently employed but still Edcon will not increase my credit limit. At first I would call the customer care line and will be given excuses that the account is directly linked to the ITC and the account will update accordingly... after more than 3 years of calling I am now fedup, I called again a week ago and I was told that the project was a failure and I should walk into an Edgars store, of which I did last Monday only to find out it was a waste of time as the Consultant couldn't help me since the lady at the call centre terminated the phone call. It seems like every Edconee knows what's happening but now what's the fix... like seriously the R650 credit is really not working out.
