On the 21 th of October at about 15h30 I hired a carpet shampoo machine from the SPAR. I told them that I need the machine for two day and want take advantage of their special midweek offer they advertise. They charged me R259.00 for the machine and an extra R100 for an extra day. On the 22nd of October at 14h30 I returned the machine about 23 hours after I rented it. I did not take my slip with me and had to convince them to just look in their book for their copy, there cant' be that many transactions and lo and behold mine was the last transaction. I was told that seeing that I did not return the machine in the morning I had to pay another days rental. When I queried this I was told that I like many other people do not understand that the rental is actually overnight and I had to return it in the morning. Just note, I don't understand! She does not understand that I paid for two days and only used the machine for less than a day and I don't understand! I have been staying two blocks away from the SPAR for more than 20 years but this is the last time I will set foot in it again. Arrogant staff member, forget it!
