I bought a Makita machine from builders warehouse, I told them exactly what I'm using the machine for and the salesperson advised that I buy the Makita machine as it's an industrial machine and would not give me the problems the RYOBI gave me. If I did not get advice the from the sales person I would have bought myself 3 cheaper machines to do the same work and for the same price and it would have lasted much longer.
Not even 6 months down the line the MAKITA jig saw gives me the same problem the cheaper RYOBI gave me. Now that it's time for the machine to be fixed they are saying that the machine has been abused. From the beginning I told them exactly what I'm going to be using the machine for so I don't understand how I could abuse the machine.
The machine is not even 6 months old and they want me to pay more than half the price of the machine to get it fixed. I really think that's very unreasonable.
Please assist urgently, as the managers at the store are not prepared to assist.
