I bought a nespresso machine at @home in Sandton City on Friday afternoon, the machine was on special at 1440 as the box was not in good condition. I was still happy to take it as the box mean nothing, secondly there was no pods in the box and promised on the outside of the box. I still took the machine as its was R450 off the original box,
I went home plugged the machine on... and bam the machine didn't work... i called the nespresso help-desk and they confirmed it was not working and must be taken back to be replaced.
I then took the machine back on Saturday morning only to be told by the manager on site that the machine was on special and if i took another one (same model) i would have to pay the original price the extra R450. i had a argument with the manager he never once was apologetic and keep avoiding giving me his name.. I ended up taking the machine anyway but i am extremely angry and feel let down with the service i received and having to pay the original price. I have been a customer with @home and had a account with them for 10 years and with this service i feel like closing the account and never again stepping foot into the store...
