Just after I applied for an account and it got approved I phoned customer service and asked if they can please change me to a six month interest free plan instead of the 12 month, 21% interest plan, she said it is fine and that she has changed my account to six month plan. Then I picked up my card and bought clothes on credit. I received my first statement on the 14th of October and it stated that I was on a 12 month plan and they charged me 21% interest. I immediately contact them and asked on what plan I was, the operator said that I am on a six month plan. I phoned on the 21st of October for them to fix the statement as I was billed incorrectly. They then said I am on a 12 month plan and that I cannot change this? But i was under the impression that it was changed a long time ago? Now I have to pay 21% interest because Edgars gave me the wrong information? I insist on not paying the interest because they to me on what plan is was???
