I put the following on here Ok Furniture didn't bother, sent mail to shoprite as it's one of their stores, they also didn't bother, so now I will contact the ombudsman and speak out on SABC 2!!
My gran reported the cell phone she bought on contract as, they have opened a case in which the police have apparently changed some of the details being the cell phone was on window sill instead of on bed. Now Adderley store doesn't want to cover the phone after 2 months of waiting because the police put the phone down as on the window sill and Adderley branch said it's negligence!! It doesn't matter where in the room the phone was!! The fact is it was and the case was made now Adderley branch wants to pass the buck by telling my gran them they must change their statement!!! That is!!! Loss or Damage of phone is negligence!!! Adderley street is telling my gran it's negligence because the phone was and the police put on their report from the window sill. I'm going to pass this onto the insurance ombudsman and hear what their take is on this and the show speak out! Seems you people are trying to wriggle your way out covering the phone!!
