On Wednesday 11 September at 14.31 I went to the above mentioned shop to enquire about my expired laybye. I had previously gone there on a sunday morning and the casual worker had said she could not help but only the manager could and during the week days. When I went there on wednesday because I wanted to get some other shoes instead.the cashier who utterly refused with her name said I will not get my full cash back but half the money.she went on to take R50 from the cash register and gave it to me. I then asked her if I am not going to get a receipt for it but instead Carmen and the cashier wanted my receipt. I then told them I needed proof and they said all the other shops do it like them. When I kept on insisting that I did not want money back but shoes the other cashier went to the back saying I don't have the time for this (waving her hands in the air) and speaking in Afrikaans. I told them I was not looking for a fight but clarification and the cashier went on to say we customers take advantage because its said the customer is always right. I asked if I could see or speak to the manager but they said the manager was not there. I left the shop then without getting the answers
