Edgars does not understand CLOSE

On the 20th of July 2013 my wife requested a settlement to close our Edgars account. The settlement value was quoted and we made the payment after which we enquired if the account was closed to which we received a reply that it was. We then cut up the Edgars card. Now on the 17th of August we receive a statement which reflects our settlement payment and shows that we are to pay a further R140.50. I do not know how this happens as we were very explicit when we said we want to close our account and how much do we owe to do so, it shows how Edgars works and then wants to blacklist customers for their own fault or wrong doing, Edgars should learn that CLOSE means CLOSE not just settle what is owing to keep the account open.
