R11 000 For broken goods!!

On Friday, Went through to HiFi Corp in woodmead and bought a 50" LED TV, The consultant insisted on removing the screen to test it, Which he did, Plugged it in and all was fine, When the consultant placed the TV back in the box he held it very firmly on the screen and not the border, When I Plugged the TV in at home I see that it was broken on pretty much the exact place the consultant was holding it,

Not thinking this would be an issue to exchange I packed the screen up and took it back the next morning, This is where the shocking service begins, I took the screen in to the repairs/exchange section where I was told by the first consultant that I had broken the screen on purpose! I then requested to speak to the manager, When I finally got the manager, Regan Naidoo, he said he would send the screen for "assessment" and then will let me know, Yesterday being almost a week and no contact, Regan was not responding to my mails or taking my calls, I drove to the shop where he told me that the TV would need to be repaired at my cost! I had just spent R11000 On The TV, Only to be told to pay to have it repaired and then use a repaired TV I believe an exchange with a new unit is in order!
