I purchased an LG computer screen from Hi Fi Corporation at there Amanzimtoti branch last year. I December the screen developed a larger spot (size of a R5 coin) on the screen. The screen was still under warranty, so I took it back to them and they said they would send it to JHB to be assessed. After numerous calls, I was told that the damage was caused by me and they would not honour the warantee. I refused this and requested that the screen be returned to me. Once again after numerous calls and visits to the branch, and also receiving an incorrect component in the interim, I eventually got the screen back in a box. I few days later I opened the box, I noticed that part of the stand was missing. Just the base plate was in box, not the part that goes from the base plate to the screen. It is now June and I have given up. I have have wasted hundreds of rands on petrol and phone calls.
