After 5 months of actual use, but out of the warranty period... one does not use an electric blanket all year round... the cable switch failed. I reported this but was told I needed to purchase a new cable switch. The cost of this plus delivery is half the cost of the blanket.
So I am warning future buyers to beware of this make..Pure Pleasure.
This is the second blanket that has failed, the first one started to smoulder and would have caught alight had I not been in the bed.
