I bought an safeway electric blanket in May 2012 at the Click Rosebank Mews. Yesterday it stopped working and i contacted Clicks to find out if i can bring it in to be repaired at my cost because it was past the 12 month warranty period. I was informed that once the blanket stops working (post warranty), it can't be fixed because there isn't a Safeway repair agent in South Africa. In other words i have to throw it away and buy a new one.
The manual does not state this nor was this explained to me when i purchased the blanket.
This is absurd and i want clicks/safeway to tell me what i should. Either they must replace it or give me my money back because this is day light.
