I purchased a Safeway electric blanket about 3 years ago from your store in Cape Town, I have had a good run with the blanket but Tuesday night 4 June 2013, I left my 10 year old son and my sleeping 2 month old baby in the room in my bed with the electric blanket on to make a cup of tea, my 10 year old came running into the kitchen shouting the blanket was on fire, I ran out to grab my baby, quickly pulled the plug from the socket and put out the small flames at the point where the cord goes into the blanket. I am still petrified at the thought of what could have happened. On Wednesday 5Jun13, I took the blanket to the store I purchased it from and no one there could assist me, they didn't even know what to say to me. I just think that someone should give me answers as to why this happened
