On Sunday I bought a shirt for R 799.95. Literally minutes later I saw the exact same shirt for R 675.00. I complained to the lady who "helped" me, and I do use the term loosely, as she treated me as if I had personally offended her just by being in the store. I discovered that she is the branch manager. She told me she could not refund me for the shirt as there was a "No Refunds" sign on the door. I am quite sure that this goes against the Consumer Protection Act, which as far as I know allows 7 days for returns and exchanges. I suggested refunding me for the value of the shirt with a voucher, or even the value of the difference between the R 799.95 I paid and the R 675.00 I should have paid. She refused, and was rude about it. I then spoke to the Area Manager telephonically while still in-store. He too had a "-it-up" attitude and told me he couldn't do anything. I will never, ever give this company my business again. Their lack of regard for customer service is appalling. I refuse to believe that there was "nothing" to be done, and even if that was the case, I would have accepted it if the staff were at least nice about it. I am severely disappointed. Pathetic.
