Rude, incompetent, and dishonest

Last week my colleagues complained that they avoid P&P due to bad service. I told them that I frequent Waterkloof and Lifestyle P&P as the service is good. Boy, was I wrong about the latter: Went to Lifestyle yesterday and used the express line with 1 basket. Nthabiseng Motau at the till did not greet us but rather complained bitterly to a colleague that we had more than 10 items, in front of us, not knowing that my wife speaks more than one language. I asked her if there was a problem as there is no sign stating that the express was for 10 items. She said that it was removed by "someone", a blatant as I have never in 3 years seen it, visiting this store twice a week. She was so rude that I called a manager, Ignatius, who apologised and asked her to do the same. She refused. Either her training was inadequate or she is just lazy, or perhaps does not have the capacity for the job. If the roles were reversed I would have been branded. And that is what she is. If P&P condones this behaviour by not throwing the book at her I will not spend a single cent with you again. Somebody should tell this rude and nasty woman that customers pay wages, employers just handle the money.
