Last week I was on the search for some work shirts as I am starting a new job, walking through all the relevant stores and no one having what I wanted, I went to Woolworths to carry on my search.
After checking the floor and going through all the rails for a size 8, I couldn't find any and I asked a sales assistant to help, she scanned the floor and told me they don't have which was obvious, I then asked another lady to help and she then told me to go and ask at one of the counters for some one to look up on the system for me for stock in other branches.
This is a regular occurance at Cape gate branch, never any small sizes left.
I then approached "Donovan" who then immediately stopped what he was doing to help, he checked the system, he went to look in the stock room and came out with a whole new batch of the shirts I needed, he then handed me the only size 8 in the store with the biggest smile.
That is how service should be, service isn't a matter of shrugging your shoulders and saying "sorry we out of stock"
