Woolworths vitality benefit will not be paid out if I use any card other than my woolworths card to pay for the transaction online. However, this is not mentioned to any client online or in marketing information or explicitly in any terms and conditions. Woolworths will give me my WRewards discount as the online account is automatically linked to my Woolworths card but the vitality benefit does not recognise this, why? This is the same portal and same transaction. Vitality say I need to enter my woolworths card details on screen, but this is not possible as the account is already linked to my woolworths card.
Months after logging my initial query this is communicated, despite over 10 follow up calls on my part with no feedback. The customer service centre staff gave me the run around forr a month and then when speaking to supervisors they hide behind a term stating that Vitality reserves the right to withhold any benefit. Sorry, but when you don't tell your clients that they need to follow a very specific process for online transactions then you are just cheating them. Rubbish service and now I have wasted money on transactions. Cheating, lying, . I'm owed over R1000 now
