Poor response for new credit application

On 19 July I abandoned an application to apply for a new account due to time constraints. Established a credit check was done on TransUnion ITC. On 26 July went back to Stellenbosch branch to discover application was not lodged. Again submitted application on 26 July and was told, will be called re outcome. On 27 July, at Century City branch was told, application was declined. Called Cust Serv, spoke to Nathan who said it was declined because of Employment Ref Check. I provided my HR and Direct Managers numbers for verification - Nathan reverted employment now verified, then told they need to perform one more check and will call me next morning (28 July). Regrettable no one called. At 11h50 went to samebranch and found application was declined AGAIN.

In 2011 was retrenched and got blacklisted. In 2012 was employed and paid off all debt in FULL. One default from FNB on file for R1608 and now multiple enquiries from Edgars.

I would like Edgars to please
(a) reconsider my application in light I have no outstanding debt and the one default of FNB fully paid up.
(b) remove multiple credit enquiries as I applied once only.
