Bond Application

I applied for a bond switch and a additional amount at my branch on the 28th of June 2013. The consultant then forwarded the application to the home loan department. I received no feedback from them and sent them a e-mail on the 17th of July 2013. The lady in question confused my application with someone. I sent numerous mails and finally received a mail from Pearl Jacobs on the 23rd of July 2013. She informed me that my application will go to credit on the same day. On the 26th of July I received a mail from her with a declined letter dated the 23rd of July 2013. How can my application be declined before going to credit??? I sent Pearl a mail to ask her the reason because the letter was very vague. To this day I have not received an answer.
