Double payment on my cheque account

On Tuesday, 16 July 2013 went to Mr Price Home Eastgate to pay my account. The payment went of on my account and on their computer it was showing loading. the cashier called the assistant manager they both cancelled the transaction and swipe my card for the second time and the payment went off again the assistant manager told me that the money will reverse automatically in few minutes. so I decided to wait when she realised that I was not leaving the assistant pick up the phone called someone and after that she said they was network problem but assured me that the money would be paid over night. but nothing happened I called the store the next day 17 July 2013. she said I must bring my card so that they can reverse the money they also asked for my bank statement which I submitted. I contacted their customer service but they also cant help gave the store coordinators number she also cant help. now the store coordinator is telling me to contact ABSA today on the 29 July 2013 why must I contact the bank. They should have told me that on the someday. I don't know if they want to frustrated me or what not happy at all.:-((
