Furniture City (Southgate) Complaint

On the 26 January 2013, my husband and I went to Furniture City to purchase furniture for our new home. All was in order as well as our request for the furniture to be delivered to us on the 1st March 2013 because that was the date we moved into our new home. This was the first hiccup we had experienced with Furniture City as they did not meet our request to deliver on the 1st March 2013 and we were not notified that they were not going to deliver because of damaged goods. My husband had to phone Furniture City to find out what time the delivery was going to be made and only then was he told that they were not going to deliver because the bed was "torn". On that day only the headboard was delivered and my husband sent it back because it was useless without the bed. We had to sleep on the floor while waiting for the furniture to be delivered. After a week of back and forth with the store manager Anna-Marie, the warehouse manager Riaan and the regional manager Juan - we reached an agreement that we would accept the furniture that was on display and then we would receive new furniture when the store receives new stock. We still have NOT received anything yet. I hope this wakes them up
