My Birthday was on the 25th of March, I have my Makro account since December 2012. I didn't receive my birthday voucher so i called RCS who told me to call the store where i opened my account, the store told me to call the Makro call centre, finally called them and they say I didn't get my Voucher because i opted not to receive Emails ans SMS's from them and that there was no way that they could send me my voucher, Yet i get my statement by POST every month. The Account Terms and Condition say that the Birthday voucher is unconditional but subject to a validity period. What a this is. there is no mention of not receiving the voucher if one opts not to receive SMS's as this is the way that they communicate the voucher to customers. Its the small things that make customers happy. People ought not to be fooled.
