I made a purchase about two Saturdays ago at Makro Strubensvalley for a few thousands of rands. I attempted to use the birthday voucher SMS sent to me by Makro at the till point during the purchase process. The voucher didn't work and returned the message that it had already expired yet the SMS voucher clearly states that it will expire on 30 April 2013. That event led to a very frustrating and embarrassing moment at the till point in front of other customers.
