I bought a Blackberry from Truworths last year and in February this year the screen first started going white and finally totally scrambled. I went to Vaal Mall to enquire how I am to go about to have it fixed as to where they explain I have to bring the contract and it will be send to the repair centre. Since we have moved in the mean time I searched for the contract but couldn't find it... however... I still have the original slip and the box and everything in place. I went back to the store and ask them if they could assist me and once again it was said, no..I have to produce the contract.
This feels a little bit on the unfair side to me since I'm still paying off that phone but had to buy a new one since that one is a total lost.
Why can't they do the repair with all the info I do have available and why can't they assist with a copy of the contract like other shops gladly will do?
