Good Day
This past weekend I went for a shop at the Mr Price at Eastgate Mall in Johannesburg. I stood in a seriously long queue but didn't let it bring me down as I knew this was the store's busiest time. However after standing in this queue i finally got to the till and I was not even greeted by the cashier and so I greeted him with no reply. I had to pay using a debit card and when it came to me signing the slip the cashier threw the pen and slip on the other side of the counter and turned away. I let it go and signed and gave the receipt back and said thank you and goodbye and didn't get a reply. My boyfriend (very angry at this point) sarcastically said goodbye 3 TIMES until he got a reply from this man. Unfortunately I did not catch his name (maybe fortunately for him)
I spent quite a bit of money at this store. Some may say its quite a petty complaint but i would disagree. What if we all treated people who were giving us money like this? It really was a poor experience and has left me with a bad taste for Eastgate's Mr Price. I hope I am the only one who was treated this poorly and that there are still some polite staff working in the store.
