Poor customer service at Game West Street... again!

The store was not overly busy today. I waited in line with my basket of goods. When I was next in line I looked at the till point and noticed a piece of till slip paper with "Cash Only" scratched on it. I enquired of the cashier as to whether the bank terminal was working. She said no. Being annoyed that I had spent my time waiting in line only to have rejoin another queue, I suggested to her to maybe let people know that the till accepts cash only before they join the queue. I have worked as a cashier and understand that these machines crash, but surely a chain store as big as Game would have a notice a little more professional than a scrap of paper, should something not be working.

What peeved me off more than the inoperable bank terminal was the cashiers rude and dismissive attitude to me, with not even an apology. Fortunately the next cashier was a bubbly lady so I was spared. Although her bank terminal had a faulty wire. Come on!

Cashier in question was opposite the cigarette counter around 1PM today. Management, please don't waste my time calling me, rather fix up your store and the staffs attitudes.
