Was at above store this morning. There is a promotion of' Double Points' on one's purchases. This obviously calls for more personnel at till points. However, I was at the store at 09:00. There were already about 12 people in front of me. Itt took forever for the queue to move. At this point the queue behind me had grown. Finally as I neared the end of my queue, I found the reason for the delay. There were only TWO cashiers at the tillpoints. Then the one cashier had a query and left her till. When I finally reached the ONLY cashier, I asked her why there were no more cashiers. She looked at me arrogantly and did NOT reply. How can a store not be aware of the congestion on a SALE day? Why have so many till points when you are not using them? I would like to mention that this has happened on many other occasions at the same store. I believe that I rather pay more for my items elsewere, than standing in long queues for a bargain. I cannot imagine having gone to the store any later in the day.
