I am most disappointed in Makro Pietermaritzburg. I bought an external hard drive, LG 1TB for R799. It was faulty so I took it back to them. They sent it in for repairs, and then they phoned me to let me know that it could not be repaired. I went to Makro today to get my new external hard drive, and they said that they will give me a credit of R799. I went to get my replacement external hard drive and now the price for the exact same one was a whopping R1349!! They expected me to pay in the difference! Like! I was then forced to buy the cheapest 1TB which was obviously the Mecer 1TB and I had to pay in a difference of R200. I feel that this should have just been replaced with no hesitation! When I queried this they said they would be doing a loss! I bought it when it was on promotion and Makro sold me an inferior product! Not my fault that Makro sold me a faulty unit!!! I am highly disgusted in you Makro!
