Bought an external hard drive from Takealot, only having it for less that three months it stopped connecting to my laptop. I told then it was not working and they collected to to check it out and then accused me of having changed the casing that is why it is not working, which of course i did not do. They returned the hard drive having removed all the data on the drive and said that there is nothing they can do about it. So i then took it somewhere else to have a look and they then changed the casing and it still is having problems. When i pay a lot of money for something i expect it to last longer than three months.
You would expect them to give you a new hard drive that is not broken and keep a happy customer.
My friend also bought an external hard drive from them and her's is also broken. DONT BUY FROM TAKEALOT!
