In March I bought my daughter a Seagate 750GB hard drive in Durban. It came with 2 16G USB's. She stays in Johannesburg. She then experienced a problem with the hard drive. I sent her the receipt. She went to the Edenvale branch. They could not "fix" it, it did not want to come on. They then requested that she needs to give back the 2 USB's as well before they will refund her her money?
I can't see why she had to give them back, as she only had an issue with the hard drive.
So with other words, Makro is selling used stuff to the public??? They will re-package it, and put it on sale again! DISGUSTING
I was pretty amazed when my daughter told me this.
It caused an inconvenience, as I had one USB in Durban, and had to Speed Post it to her in JHB.
