Being a loyal user of another large chain online shoppping I used today for the first time PnP to deliver monthly food parcel to my elderly mother at an old age home as I live overseas. The delivery person was excellent and took time to help unpack and assist. Brilliant service! Unfortunately some items ordered were not delivered, and worst of all, not even substituted as requested. Washing powder, chicken pieces for example, how can the whole of the shop be out of stock? Another tin food brand, 2 delivered, third not avl, and again no subsititute why not send one of the same that was in stock. Lamb chops, nothing. It does not sound like much, but when its to someone with limited mobility to get to a shop, food items are important and choosen specifically to meet a need. With a competitor, if sth not avl, a substitute of sorts always sent. Also, on 2 occassions, to my cell phone I recieved a phone call at 3 and 3.35 am (the caller saw international) and was to lazy to even check the time difference. I am only 1 customer, and may only spend R2000 a month on online shopping, But would PnP rather have the business? I would not like a phonecall, I would like simply the items.
