On 08/01/2013 i called Edcon and went through to Portia, i wanted to remove Gabriel Manyapye from the policy, correct my child's name to Onthatile as it was spelled as Omthatile, she confirmed that it has been done, i asked about my child Bertha Khoza who will be 21 years next month as to how much extra will i have to pay to keep her on the policy as she is no longer a student and not working yet, she said once she is 21 years and not studying there's nothing i can do about it and no amount of money i can pay to keep her on the policy, i found this very strange and asked for customer care details, she gave me Thabusile Thwala's email address said she is her supervisor, i emailed Thabuile on the same day and she responded two days later by saying "If she's 21 years and working she must have her own account and enrol a personal funeral plan", i then emailed back saying "So you are basically saying that I cannot cover my child? " my email was read on 08:04 but there was no response, on the same day at 03:54 i mailed him/ her again to say i am still very for a response, and guess what, till today i am still waiting, my email address is [Email Removed]
