I enquired about insurance for a Polo in October 2013. The agent said if I want to cancel the policy I must do so before the 15th of November 2013. Which I did. I sent an email to the cancellations email address on the company website on the 11th of November 2013 because I had not taken delivery of the vehicle as yet. Didnt get any reply. Send another email on the 16th after my account was debited, still no reply. then finally the call centre contacted me on the 22nd and cancelled the policy and sent a confirmation. Then my account was debited again for almost R1000 yet the policy was cancelled. The sales team leader Dillon called me to say that the money would be refunded to my account in 7 working days, up until now the money has still not been received on my side. I sent an email to the email address again [Email Removed] complaining. Someone did read the email but has not responded. So now, what does one do? Go to the media? Speak to their management?
