On 6th January 2013, we ordered furniture from Rochester Atterbury. Several weeks later we were informed that the furniture was ready and would be delivered on payment of the balance of the deposit. We duly paid. Most of the furniture was delivered but we were missing a chair. It was later explained that the chair had been damaged on delivery from the manufacturer. Also, one of the leather couches was faulty. It is now May and, unless I make a telephone call, I never hear from Rochester. Our leather couch was eventually collected for repair and the damaged chair delivered - twice - with the same damage. We are still waiting to receive our goods and Rochester are singularly unconcerned about our frustrations. They have our money and our furniture. Neither the regional manager, general manager or branch manager bother to return telephone calls and it is impossible to speak to anyone with any authority. I am sorry I ever walked through the door of this terrible business and will certainly never darken their doors again.
