I have been trying to cancel my ADT Contract as my alarm installation was never completed. I phoned for assistance 2 months ago, one year after inception of contract and did not receive help.
I therefore made another plan. I have now been advised that I need to settle the contract. I have read through the contract and requested a handover certificate as I do not see how I can be liable for this contract as the contract - per signed contract is valid for 24 months from 'start date', being defined as date that handover certificate is provided and alarm installation is complete. I have requested this 4 times from Busi but get no replies.
She has given me settlements - and I have requested banking details on a letterhead. She also does not get back to me with this. She does although advise me that she is in charge and I will be listed on ITC for stopping the debit order... ADT - you are actually bullying your clients. My handover certificate has not been provided - and I am therefore not contractually bound. I am willing to settle for something I never received anyway - to avoid 'ITC Listing' that I have been threatened with.
Please can somebody, other than Busi phone me!
