Disgusting service delivery

In November 2013, I signed up with ADT Security Pietermaritzburg for an armed response service. My current system was re-connected &an extra PIR and door sensor& cabling. Within the first week/2 I started experiencing issues where the alarm would go off for no reason. The technicians were sent out &attempted to solve the problem without success. Another technician was dispatched who then informed me that possibly my alarm system was faulty-This came as a shock as the initial tests carried out by the salesman& the first technicians showed the alarm system was fully operational &working.By now the alarm was going off when I opened the door when it was not even armed. I disconnected the system but it was only until a few days later that ADT sent me the first of a series of sms's requesting that I contact them so that they could come check my alarm - no contact number included either. Another salesman/manager then came to my to check the system & informed me I need a new system which would cost R4108.00! I attempted to cancel the contract but was told they needed it in writing which i did. I have been paying for a service i have not received& the ADT PMB has still not contacted me.
