HI, I write again on HelloPeter.com because as usual I sit awaiting a response from the ADT email address. I have had a spate of false alarms on my system resulting in a text message to the effect that my allowable false alarms have been exhausted and I would be liable for cost for future dispatches of armed response. Since I am never at home when the alarm goes off I can only assume that either there is someone trying to get into my house in these events or there is a problem with the alarm system. I wrote a message which resulted in a technician being sent to check the system. Since then there has been a false alarm EVERY DAY resulting in me being charged over R200 excess for October. I managed to get the technician back who then told me the sensor was either mounted in the wrong place, the wrong sensor for the job, was being set off by animals (even though we were promised they would not do so!) and that he needed to install a device to monitor. the system. Still nothing, still daily false alarms and my bills are climbing. ADT's service has been terrible in not responding to my problem - they installed the system and wont take responsibility for it!
