Atrocious Service, or at least a lack thereof

We've been with ADT for just over a year and on 2 occassions, response times to our alarm was putrid. Last year they took 50 minutes before arriving at our home, after we suffered a break-in (we were new to the area). Today, our alarm went off at 7am, and no one has been to our house as yet!!! We live down the road from ADT house, so please help me understand why no one is coming out to check if all is ok??? The regulation response times on alarm activations is 15 minutes and on both occasions, ADT is in breach of contract!

When husband called to enquire about cancellation, apparently we'll be liable for a cancellation fee. We demand that our contract be cancelled effective 01/11/13, and half the subscription for this month be refunded, along with the additional debit that was done of R200 odd for the radio signal fee. We were not aware that ADT will be deducting extra for some radio fee. Communication before the debit went off would have been appreciated.

Every month we pay our fees religiously, yet you are offering no service whatsoever. Heaven forbid something had happened to my family and I during the above-mentioned times, we pay for security yet nothing is forthcoming!
