We moved house recently and decided to install and link an alarm with ADT since they are a reputable company. To our dismay this wasn't the experience we had. Since the day the alarm was installed it never worked properly numerous calls to ADT later and the issues just compile. We are now at a point where we cannot switch the alarm on (which we paid R15, 000 for and which we pay for monthly as well!) since this just triggers the siren all the time. To top this all of I have received an email and a call today to inform me that I have to ensure that we use the alarm responsibly and to ensure it is well maintained in order to reduce the number of false alarms. This included a list of tasks that I have to carry out in order to ensure this "unacceptable" false alarms is minimised.
I am truly appalled by this service and the arrogance to blame me for their faulty installations.
