I have struggled to cancel my monitoring service with ADT since mid May - despite several emails and several (unsatisfactory) phone calls. It has finally happened this week, but I would hope now to receive a refund of the direct debit taken off my bank account in AUG and SEPT as I have proof of my requests.
My contact with the call centre has been a frustration..There is no direct line to the accounts/cancellation dept and every time there has been a long wait and a different agent. The first lady (Tania) completely misunderstood my request and gave me a months free service but did not terminate my contract. Then there's the 20 questions about why I want to terminate and how they can possibly retain me. It seems the junior agents are incapable of actioning the cancellation. I have only had one man (Jarrod Vaughan) at the call centre who listened to me, and seemed keen to assist me. Otherwise I can honestly say there has been NO customer "care" or "service"
I already have a new (cheaper) security company and new alarm installed, and have not used their service for over 3 months!
I just want a refund for the last two months and nothing further ever to do with your company.
